Counselling for Individuals, Couples, & Families
Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start or how to navigate barriers that prevent you from achieving the life you want, but counselling can assist you with understanding yourself and your concerns in a new way. I believe that knowledge, self-awareness, and a sense of agency build the foundation for growth and personal transformation.
Support from a counsellor can be helpful when experiencing challenges because it can assist you with drawing on the strengths and resources you already possess in order to use them in new, creative, and meaningful ways. Counselling can assist you with building the life you want by reconnecting you with your own abilities so you can negotiate current and future challenges with confidence.
Consulting & Training
I offer customized consulting and training for various community organizations specific to my areas of expertise. Whether you're looking to strengthen your clinical practice or enhance the quality of your programs, tailored training can make a meaningful impact. I work closely with you and your team to understand your specific needs and develop solutions that provide the right level of support for your organization.
Clinical Supervision
Ongoing professional and personal growth is key to developing strong clinical expertise. With this in mind, I offer clinical supervision that supports reflexive exploration of your practice and helps address challenges collaboratively. Please check to ensure your governing body recognizes supervision provided by a Registered Social Worker.
My Approach
Creating meaningful change starts with approaches tailored to your unique needs. While my work is primarily informed by Somatic Experiencing® and Somatic Inner Relationship Focusing, I integrate a variety of modalities that are relational, attachment-based, polyvagal-informed, and narrative in focus to support your growth and transformation.

My practice is anchored within an anti-oppressive critical framework that focuses on your strengths and abilities. Your lived experiences equip you with the tools, insights, and resources needed for positive change. Acceptance, care, safety, and respect are essential in fostering connection, developing new insights, and discovering your whole self.
Using a holistic lens, I strive to understand you and your circumstances within the context of your relationships and society as a whole. I work collaboratively with you to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing openly and confidentially about your experiences while reflecting on their meaning, connecting to them in an embodied manner, and reframing them in a new way to facilitate forward movement.
I recognize that the challenges people face are complex and multi-dimensional, and that healing deep wounds caused by marginalization and oppression is vital. I also believe that meaningful change occurs not only through individual work, but by engaging with transformative practices aimed at dismantling systems of oppression, which is critical for both individual and collective well-being.
